As required, by the Prep to Year 12 Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Framework, Parramatta State School teaches, assesses and reports on all learning areas. Classroom teachers are responsible for the curriculum as per 'The Australian Curriculum' in English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences.
Specialist teachers are responsible for the curriculum in The Arts, Health and Physical Education, Japanese and Technologies. Each learning area has been mapped from Prep to Year 6 and each year level has a year level plan and assessment schedule.
