Parramatta State School OSHC & Vacation Care
Our school community is proud to offer Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) and Vacation Care for school-aged children. Both regular and casual bookings are available for families registered with the service.
The service is licensed and operated by the Parramatta State School P&C Association and is guided by the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010, Regulations 2011, the National Quality Framework (NQF), and the My Time, Our Place framework. Our program reflects the vibrant and diverse community of Parramatta State School.
How to Enrol
You can enrol for OSHC and Vacation Care by completing our enrolment form:

- In Person: Visit our OSHC centre, located on the school grounds with entry via Minnie Street (at the back of the school hall, overlooking the oval)
Hours of Operation
Our service caters specifically for primary school-aged children, including prep-aged children, during the following times:
- Before School Care: 6:30am – 8:30am
- After School Care: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
- Vacation Care & Pupil Free Days: 6:30am – 6:00pm

Bookings
- We welcome both permanent and casual bookings.
- Casual places depend on availability and staff-to-child ratios. Please book at least 24 hours in advance during business hours.
What's Provided
- Before School Care: Nutritious breakfast options such as cereal, toast, and fruit, followed by quiet activities or homework time.
- After School Care: A healthy afternoon tea (e.g. wraps, sandwiches, fruit, or hot options in winter), followed by a wide range of activities:
- Arts & crafts
- Outdoor play and sports
- Board games & movie afternoons
- Cooking experiences
- Homework help
- Vacation Care: Breakfast, and afternoon tea provided.
- Please pack morning tea and lunch from home.
Excursions and incursions (additional cost) are planned based on interest and numbers.
